Yog Samiti Certifies 180 Yoga Teachers To Promote Yoga


Kolkata, January 25, 2021: 
Patanjali Yog Samiti, Howrah, which aims to build awareness of career prospects in the field of yoga and encourage youth to embrace yoga for a promising future, awarded 180 certificates to state teachers of Kolkata, state functionaries and district in-charges on Sunday.

With the blessings of Pujya Yoga Rishi Swami Ramdevji whose mission is “Swasth Bharat ,Atmanirbhar Bharat, recipients of the certificates underwent a 100-hour yoga teacher training workshop at Patanjali Yogpeeth in Howrah. Pujya Swami Prabirdev and Shri Vijay Jaiswal, Patron of West Bengal were present in the workshop. Apart from them Kolkata State President and other members were also present at the certificate cerminony.

“Around 180 Certificates were handed over to the state teachers of Kolkata, state functionaries and district in-charges and yoga teachers. The workshop concluded with the recitation of the Shanti mantra”, said Mr Vijay Jaiswal, Patron of West Bengal.

He further said that yoga is gaining popularity across the age groups. It is seen that over the last years, it has emerged as a good career choice for the people. “Initiative to create a pool of good Yoga trainers at Patanjali Yog Samiti is aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision to make Yoga a part of everyone’s life”, he added.More than thousand yoga enthusiasts attended the certification ceremony.

Post Covid-19 era, we expect a rise in demand for certified yoga instructors and trainers.
