Rhythm Express Global Art Presenter and Kalyani Ray Memorial Trust presented “Music for Peace” concert it was by the GiMA awardee Pandit Prodyut Mukherjee. Covid 19 had to stand by the people who had resorted to music to get out of this crisis. Various performing artistes and musicians have been passing through such a helpless time, working under house arrest.It was meant for peace through music.Recently Pandit Prodyut Mukherjee has created Green Tabla to spread message regarding environmental issues. It was started with performances like “within you” from the GiMA winning album Rhythm Express-Moods, followed by Music For Peace, Sare Jahan Se Achha and so on.
Earlier, Pandit Vishwamohan Bhatt, Salil Bhatt, Sraboni Sen, Saheb Chattopadhyay performed in Peace Concert. Pandit Prodyut Mukherjee said, “we had this program with the message of world peace through world music. “
