- Music Fraternity comes together to support Independent Music
Independent Bengali music video Namuk Brishti was launched on all audio platforms today in a press conference organised at a city restaurant. The soul-soothing music video sung by Gourab Sarkar, composed by Nilanjan Ghosh and penned by Ambali Chakraborty is a beautiful rendition appealing to the rains to wash away all the pains from Earth during this difficult time and clench the soul of all individuals.
The music video which was launched on YouTube earlier, was made live today on various audio platforms like Spotify, Amazon Music Gaana, Jio-Saavn, Hungama, Wynk Music, Resso, YouTube Music adding a new folder to the Bengali music section of Indian Music Streaming Platforms.
Apart from the Namuk Brishti musical team comprising of Gourab Sarkar, Nilanjan Ghosh, Ambali Chakraborty and Tushar Banerjee the Press Conference was attended by National Award-Winning singer Iman Chakraborty, eminent Bollywood singer and Kolkata girl Nikhita Gandhi, musician couple Durnibar Saha and Meenakshi Mukherjee, renowned classical musician Arshad Ali Khan, Mohul Chakraborty, Kinjal Chattopadhyay, Ankan, Ananya Chakraborty, Rishita Saha, Suvam Moitra, Argha Banerjee, Arya Chakraborty, Shibasish Banerjee, Akash Chakrabarty among others.
The musicians talked about how on hand the pandemic had affected the industry and on the other hand has encouraged the rise in independent music. The artists unanimously applauded and agreed that the new generation of musicians were not confined to a single task of performing: they juggled many roles at one time, that is, singing, composing, penning lyrics, sound designing, mixing, editing etc. giving dimensions to a new world of independent music.
